Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
Last updated: July 2026
slipfallcalculator.com is operated by The Click Lab Agency LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, how it is used, and your choices about that use. We are committed to transparency about our data practices.
Information we collect directly
Simply browsing the calculator and guides does not require you to provide personal information. The calculator inputs you enter (medical bills, lost wages, injury severity) are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. That data is never transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere outside your device.
If you choose to submit the “Slip and Fall” case-review form on the homepage, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the case details you provide, and a timestamp of your consent. This is separate from using the calculator and is entirely optional — see “The case-review form and attorney sharing” below for what happens to this information.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your contact information with third parties.
The case-review form and attorney sharing
If you submit the case-review form, your name, phone number, email address, and case details are shared with one or more attorneys or their agents licensed to practice in your jurisdiction, so they can evaluate your situation and contact you about it. The Click Lab Agency LLC, which operates slipfallcalculator.com, is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not vet, endorse, or guarantee the attorneys in this network. Submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship with The Click Lab Agency LLC or with any attorney until and unless that attorney separately agrees to represent you. The Click Lab Agency LLC may be compensated for these referrals.
By submitting the form, you separately consent to be contacted by phone, text, and email — including by automated dialing technology — by The Click Lab Agency LLC and the attorneys or agents your information is shared with. That consent is not required to use any other part of this site, and you can decline it by not submitting the form.
Information collected by third-party services
We use third-party services that collect usage data independently under their own privacy policies.
Google AdSense
We display advertising through Google AdSense (pub-6434377544325972). AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site and other sites on the web. Google may use data about your visits to personalize the ads you see. You can review Google’s advertising data practices and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings. Google’s full privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QDC9KD4G53) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited, how long visitors spend on the site, and where traffic originates. Google Analytics collects data through cookies and device identifiers. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We use it solely to improve site content. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies
We do not set first-party tracking cookies beyond what's needed to process a case-review form submission. Google AdSense and Google Analytics set third-party cookies on your device when you visit the site. These cookies enable ad personalization and analytics tracking as described above. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through browser settings. Note that blocking cookies may affect ad functionality but will not affect your ability to use the calculator or read guides.
Under GDPR and similar regulations, non-essential cookies (including advertising and analytics cookies) require consent in certain jurisdictions. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with cookie consent requirements, you should manage your preferences through your browser or the opt-out links above.
Opting out
The simplest opt-out is not to submit the case-review form — every other part of the site (the calculator and guides) is fully usable without providing any personal information. If you already submitted the form and want your information removed or want to withdraw consent to be contacted, email hey@theclicklab.agency with the subject line [OPT-OUT], or visit theclicklab.agency/optout.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights regarding your personal information. Browsing the calculator and guides alone never involves collecting personal information, so there is nothing to sell or share from that activity. However, if you submit the case-review form, sharing your information with attorneys for compensation, as described above, may be considered a “sale” or “share” of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to opt out of this at any time using the channels in the “Opting out” section above. To the extent Google AdSense or Google Analytics involve the sale of personal information as defined by CCPA, you may also opt out of that activity through Google’s ad settings. For requests related to any personal information we hold, contact us at hey@theclicklab.agency.
EU/UK residents (GDPR)
The legal basis for processing the information you submit through the case-review form is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time using the channels in the “Opting out” section above. The legal basis for cookies and analytics is consent, managed through your browser or the opt-out links above.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data security
Calculator inputs are never transmitted to our servers. Case-review form submissions and email correspondence are transmitted securely and retained only as long as needed to fulfill the referral or respond to your message, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, unless you request deletion sooner. Third-party services (Google AdSense, Google Analytics) maintain their own security practices described in their respective privacy policies.
Links to other sites
This site contains links to external websites, including legal resources, bar association directories, and government sites. Once you leave slipfallcalculator.com, this privacy policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as our practices or applicable law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
